PEERFORWARD NAVIGATOR UNIT 2: REFLECT OVERVIEW STUDENT HANDOUT During this unit, students create several documents for their Senior Portfolio that demonstrate their personal strengths, including the r-esume, the personal statement, and Letters of Recommendation. RECOMMENDED PLACEMENT IN CURRICULUM UNIT 2: reflect September through October. This unit is designed to occur after students have identified their goals and created a College List, but before college applications begin. This unit can be tailored and delivered earlier or later in the year based on how much time your students will need to create these documents, and how much time they have before their college applications will be due. DEADLINE ALERT: * Most college application deadlines range from -November 30th through January 15th. Help students stay on top of their individual deadlines. * Students taking the SAT/ACT after December will not have their scores in time for the fall application deadlines. Encourage students to register for and take these tests before December.
