Income benefits (TTD) are payable based on ability to work/availability of suitable work for a maximum of 400 weeks-that is an option in any compensable claim. Permanent partial disability (PPD) is scheduled and
is not payable if the employee is receiving income benefits. When it is paid, it is based on a rating assigned by the treating physician pursuant to the AMA Guides, 5th edition.13
