This second edition presents another milestone in the history of USGBC-LA. Your response to the ﬁrst edition was overwhelmingly positive and we thank you for your support. A lot of time, effort, attention to detail, passion, and commitment have made this directory possible. Our goals in publishing the Green Pages are many and varied: • to establish a networking framework for the community of people committed to building green and living sustainably in greater Los Angeles, and beyond; • to promote the reality that green building and sustainability is a viable sector within the building industry; • to establish a framework so that individuals and businesses listed herein can continue to thrive within the overall business climate; • to advocate for green building legislative initiatives at the municipal, county, state, and federal level; • to promote organizational excellence amongst the entities within the green building and sustainability family; • to serve as an educational framework for persons interested in deepening their knowledge base regarding green building and sustainability; • to promote the LEED® rating system in all of its varied manifestations; and • to promote the mission, vision and values of the national US Green Building Council and its partner entities. As with the previous edition, the 2009 Green Pages Membership Directory is organized to allow you ready access to information through the user-friendly Table of Contents and section tabs. We hope that you keep it handy and use it often as a reliable reference guide. Tell your friends about it. We expect that you will give us the constructive feedback that will allow us to continue to develop this publication in ways that will be most beneﬁcial to all of us.
