Commission on Ethics in Aging Services Leadership Circle

New york, N.y. the Commission on ethics in Aging Services is charged with preparing AAHSA and its state affiliates to assist aging services providers and the public in assessing and evaluating the ethical dimensions of providing care, shelter and services, and housing to older persons.

the AAHSA Leadership Circle is composed of Platinum business members and AAHSA provider members, all of whom are acknowledged thought leaders for the field. Consistent with AAHSA’s mission to create the future of aging services, the charge of the Leadership Circle is: • Sharing successful business models from the field • Serving as a high-level focus group for AAHSA’s CeO on emerging issues

Frankenmuth, mich. the Center for Aging Services technologies (CASt) Commission is a leadership body that provides guidance to AAHSA in fulfilling CASt’s mission of expediting the development, evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies that improves the aging experience.

• Supporting AAHSA’s work in developing leaders with the capacity to create the future of aging services field by providing to AAHSA ideas and insights about its leadership initiatives in 2009, AAHSA’s Leadership Circle focused on the need for members to integrate advocacy activities into their organizations. the result was an “advocacy blueprint” designed to help members achieve this goal.
